Industry Groups 

Ever wonder how your customers are paying other companies?  Join an industry group through NACM Oregon and find out! These groups give you the unique opportunity to talk with other credit professionals  in your industry and base your credit decisions on  current and accurate information. You can share your payment experience of common customers, and exchange technical and educational information concerning your industry. You’ll be better informed and better protected.

 NACM Oregon members may wish to form new groups or belong to one of these groups that meet regularly. These groups give a unique opportunity to meet with other credit professionals to share payment experience and educational information concerning your industry. Legal  Protection
The National Association of Credit Management and its affiliated associations sponsor and operate more than 1,000 groups across the nation. We follow national  guidelines for conducting industry group meetings and preventing the violation of antitrust rules. An NACM Oregon staff representative attends each meeting of our sponsored industry groups to ensure these guidelines are correctly followed.

Regional Groups

Meeting Info Coordinator
East Coast Executive Credit Association
The purpose of this group shall be to collect, compile, and exchange credit experience information and to discuss improvements in credit management techniques and other subjects of interest to members from the apparel, footwear, and cosmetics industries. This credit group may include in membership any company, which (1) manufactures or distributes products to retail, specialty or department stores, (2) operates a credit department with a professional credit manager, (3) has sales exceeding $300,000,000 per year, and (4) is a member in good standing of any NACM affiliate. Any company meeting these qualifications shall be eligible for membership in this credit group under the terms and conditions prescribed in the Bylaws.

West Coast Apparel & Footwear Credit Association
The purpose of this credit group shall be to share information of mutual interest and to discuss improvements in credit management techniques and other subjects of general interest to members of the group.  Any company which (1) manufactures or distributes apparel, footwear or other products to retail, specialty or department stores, (2) operates a credit department with a professional credit manager, and (3) is a member in good standing of any NACM affiliate in the United States, shall be eligible for membership in this credit group under the terms and conditions prescribed in these Bylaws.

National Bankruptcy & Insolvency Group
Through the mutual exchange of ideas, credit managers, lawyers, accountants and other bankruptcy and insolvency professionals are able to learn how to address more effectively the issues they confront in collecting from an insolvent debtor and how to communicate with each other more effectively.

NAFCA (National Apparel & Footwear Credit Association)
The purpose of this group shall be to collect, compile, and exchange credit experience information and to discuss improvements in credit management techniques and other subjects of general interest to members of the industry. This credit group may include in membership any company, which (1) manufactures or distributes apparel, footwear or related products to retail, specialty or department stores; (2) operates a creditdepartment with a professional credit manager; and (3) is a  member in good standing of any NACM affiliate in the United States. Any company meeting the qualifications shall be eligible for membership in this credit group under the terms and conditions prescribed in the Bylaws.
