Meet NACM'S Lobbyist!

The founding of Rainmakers has allowed Cindy to combine government experience with her quest to make long-term significant difference in public policy that goes beyond politics.

After 14 years as a partner in a firm, in 2004 Cindy Robert left to open her own government strategies company, Rainmakers, LLP.  Rainmaker’s clients have ranged from local governments to non-profits, from Fortune 500 businesses to campaigns.

Why the Need For a Lobbyist?

For an affinity organization, membership group, industry specific association, city, county or a successful corporation... your relationships with legislators can be the crux of your success. Building a government strategy is one of the key building blocks of this goal. Review and assessment of your program, organization and goals for the future will allow Rainmakers to provide counsel in developing your government strategy, whether the goal is funds, friends or a voice. A respected history of work in the state and federal legislatures provides you with an immediate base of working knowledge in terms of tactical strategy, contact development and representation with legislators.

Whether it is merely monitoring for issues, fighting for statutory changes or defending yourself from changes drafted by others, Rainmakers has a proven history of success. From achieving funding for a nonprofit during a budget crisis year, successfully steering legislation to a conference committee at the last minute to get necessary changes, thwarting efforts to put legislation on a committee agenda, or pushing our way through the political process to forge overwhelming change, Rainmakers has been there and done that.

Call

"I am looking forward to successfully representing NACM at the legislature. My number one concern is to make sure that legislation the negatively impacts your ability to do business does not pass. My second purpose is to help find ways that your business can become more successful through new legislation and through involvement in state government issues. Finally, I hope to get each of you more interested in the political process."

"I look forward to meeting each of you, and in the mean time, I encourage you to call me whenever you want. Whether a simple political questions, the desire to visit the capitol and your legislator, or ideas about legislation, I am always available to you!"
