NACM Oregon realizes that evaluating credit risk can be tough. We can help you minimize risk by providing a variety of business credit reporting options such as the NACM National Trade Credit Report and the Experian Premier Profile.  Each reporting agency offers something unique and provides you with the specific information you need to make informed credit decisions. Unlike consumer credit reports, business credit reports can be ordered as often as you like and you don’t have to obtain a business’ permission.

Why should I purchase a business credit report?

  • To check the status of a prospective customer's payment practices.
  • To get an update on an existing client’s business condition.
  • To see if key accounts are getting behind on payments.
  • To find out if your key suppliers are having difficulties.
  • To make an informed decision as to whether or not to increase a customer's credit limit.
  • If your customer is no longer communicating with you.
  • To determine your credit position relative to other creditors' on a customer they may already have in place.

Why isn't calling trade references from the credit application sufficient?

  • After spending all that time calling, you may still not get the information you need or even a reply. Time is money, and you can obtain a business report online instantly.
  • Customers provide their best references so you may not be receiving the full story. See who else is doing business with them and if that information can offer you a different perspective.
  • Sales are processed faster - the faster the sale is processed, the quicker your money will come in.
  • Public record information - could you be missing bankruptcy information, tax liens, judgments, and collection accounts? These are important elements in your decision-making process.
  • If you have a large dollar account, what is the cost of a credit report versus the chance to possibly lose thousands?

Already using a reporting agency?

  • Competition is a good thing, but are you paying a higher price then you need to?
  • How good is the customer service you receive from your current reporting agency? Could it be better?
  • Are you satisfied with the information you receive?
  • Could another agency better suit your needs?
  • Why not have more information available to complete your evaluation?
